Nomo was one of the greatest Japanese pitchers to find success in MLB. Nomo went 123 - 109 in 320 appearances with 1915 strikeouts in under 1760 innings.

Hideki Irabu

Hideki Irabu was one of the busts. His short 6 year career boasts a 34 - 35 record in 126 appearances along with an ERA of over 5.

Daisuke Matsuzaka

Matsuzaka is the latest craze in signing Japanese pitching. His bid for just negotiation topped 50 million from the Boston Red Sox. With an unproven pitchers (at least in the ML), a contract total of 100 million dollars could wind up being the best decision ever made by the Sox, or the most expensive mistake.
 
However, his stuff should be good enough...
